DCR Hand Rollers & Pads

The DCR can be used to remove dry, unattached particles of contamination from the production process to increase yield and improve quality. The DCR range can be supplied in a range of widths, standard sizes are 4, 6 and 12 inches (100, 150 and 300mm).

Contact the hand roller with the surface to be cleaned, loose contamination is lifted and then transferred to the adhesive pad where it is trapped. Once the adhesive is loaded with contaminants it is removed from the pad to expose a clean sheet.

Teknek have developed a unique elastomer compound which has the dual characteristics of electro-static dissipation and highly effective cleaning capability.

The high surface energy of contact cleaning rollers can sometimes generate large static electrical charges, up to and in excess of 30kV. The unique Teknek ESD compound produces only a fraction of this static charge - reductions as large as 80% have been measured - and any charge created on the roller will dissipate immediately if earthed and within seconds if left to natural decay.
